Minimally invasive skin surgery technique
This is a revolutionary skin surgery technique that removes the cyst and
lipoma thru a tiny cut following the administration of a local anesthesia (numbing
medicine). The cyst or lipoma content are squeezed out thru a tiny skin opening.
The skin opening is so small that stitches are often not needed or at the
maximum one or two stitches are needed to close the wound. This technique
may not be always successful if the cysts have been inflamed or scarred
previously.
What is lipoma?
Lipoma is a benign fat nodule.
What is a cyst?
A cyst is usually a benign skin growth containing cheesy or liquid material.
